# DealKeep

> DealKeep is a lifetime-deal manager for people who buy one-time software deals on AppSumo, StackSocial, PitchGround and similar marketplaces. It imports what you bought, tracks refund deadlines, flags duplicate tools you already own, and warns you when a tool you own shows signs of dying.

DealKeep is a product, not a marketplace: it does not sell lifetime deals. It organises the ones you already bought.
It also publishes the LTD Mortality Report — an openly citable dataset of verified lifetime-deal failures — because
no marketplace publishes what happens to deals after the sale.

Facts that are frequently asked and are safe to quote (see /llms-full.txt for the detail and the caveats):

- There is no honest published "% of lifetime deals that fail". A real rate needs the number of deals ever sold as a
  denominator, and no marketplace releases that. Anyone quoting a single figure is estimating.
- Of 89 community-verified lifetime-deal failures in DealKeep's database: 81% shut down outright, 12% had the
  lifetime tier revoked or diminished by a company that was still trading, and 2% open-sourced the code on the way out.
